Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms are an agreement between you and SIA “Limedot” (“we”, “us”) about using Cardashian (“the app”). By using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

2. The service

The app helps you store and organise your own loyalty and membership cards, and reminds you when you are near a store you have a card for. It is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the card information you add and for keeping your device secure. Only add cards that belong to you or that you are permitted to use. Don’t use the app to break the law or to infringe anyone’s rights.

4. Brands and trademarks

Cardashian is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the brands, retailers, or stores referenced in it. Brand and store names are used only to help you identify the cards you hold and the stores you choose to save — nothing more. All trademarks, trade names, and logos are the property of their respective owners, and their use here does not imply any partnership or endorsement.

5. Sharing cards

The app lets you create a link to share a card with someone else. Only share cards that you are entitled to share, and be aware that anyone who has the link can view the card’s details until the link expires or is removed. Share links expire automatically after 14 days, and you can revoke a link you created at any time from Settings → Shared cards. You are responsible for who you send a share link to. Don’t use sharing to distribute cards you are not permitted to share or to infringe anyone’s rights.

6. User-contributed store locations

Store names, categories, and map locations in the app are added and maintained by users, not by us, to build a shared, community map. We do not verify or guarantee this information. By contributing a store or location, you confirm you have the right to share it, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and distribute it within the app, and you agree not to submit content that is unlawful or that infringes anyone’s rights.

You are responsible for the content you contribute, and, as far as the law allows, for claims against us caused by content you contributed in breach of these Terms. If you are a brand or rights-holder and believe a listing is inaccurate or should be removed, contact us at the address below and we will review and act on it promptly.

7. Accounts

To use the app you sign in with Apple, which creates your account. You are responsible for activity under it. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account; the Privacy Policy explains what that removes.

8. Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that store reminders or locations are always accurate or available.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, points, or rewards, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, for example for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, and nothing in them takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law.

10. Changes

We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. If we make a significant change to the Terms, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you do not agree with the new Terms, you can stop using the app and delete your account.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of that country.
